- Application data — resumes, cover letters, and contact details that candidates submit when applying to jobs.
- Usage data — pages you visit, searches you run, and how you interact with the site. This helps us understand what's working and what isn't.
- Device and browser information — your IP address, browser type, and operating system. Standard web server stuff.
How it's used
How we use your information
Your data helps us do four things:
- Match candidates with jobs — delivering relevant search results and powering the application process.
- Improve the platform — understanding which features people use so we can make them better.
- Communicate with employers — sending application notifications and account-related updates.
- Run analytics — measuring site performance in aggregate. We care about trends, not individual tracking.
Who sees it
Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Full stop. Here's who may have access to your data and why:
- Employers — when you apply to a job, the employer receives your application materials. They only see what you submit.

How long we keep it
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:
- Active accounts — your data is retained while your account exists and for a reasonable period after closure.
- Deletion requests — ask us to delete your data and we will. We aim to process requests within 30 days.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregate, non-identifiable usage data may be retained indefinitely to help us improve the platform.
